- Software uses AI to take blood pressure readings from the face in 40 seconds
- Developed by a company based at Southampton University Science Park
- Trials have taken place across Hampshire and Isle of Wight since 2019
- Aims to target people who don't regularly have cardiovascular checks
- Works by detecting color changes in the face when the heart beats
- Could be rolled out for patients to use at home on tablets and phones
