Nothing Shelves Launch of Power 1 Charger Due to Technical Issues

Nothing developed a product called the Power 1, a 3-in-1 portable charger with wireless charging, fast wired charging, and power bank functionality.

The Power 1 was planned to launch after the Nothing Ear 1 headphones, but Nothing ultimately decided not to bring it to market.

There were issues with pricing, performance, thermals, and durability that led Nothing to shelve the Power 1.

Nothing's CEO Carl Pei shared details on the failed product launch, saying their ambitions had grown since 2021 when Power 1 was developed.

Pei said Nothing learned a lot and grew as a team from the Power 1 experience, even though it never launched.
