• 80% of surveyed Cuyahoga County seniors have cut spending on necessities like food, transportation, utilities due to inflation

• 33% have given up some medicine or medical care because of rising costs

• Groceries have seen the biggest price increases, followed by property taxes, utilities, and gas prices

• 42% say their finances are worse now compared to before the pandemic in 2019

• If faced with a $400 emergency expense today, 1 in 5 seniors said they would not be able to afford it
