Global Wealth Gap Widens: $12.8 Million Needed to Join Top 1% in Monaco, While China's Threshold Stays Under $2 Million

To join the top 1% worldwide requires over $12.8 million in Monaco, the highest barrier to entry out of 17 countries. The U.S. threshold is $5.8 million.

China has the lowest threshold at just over $1 million. Japan requires just under $2 million.
