Europe Seeks Energy Security Through Domestic Natural Gas Production

Europe remains vulnerable to volatile global energy market after cutting ties with Russian gas supplies and relying more on American LNG imports. This has led to 40%+ increase in EU energy costs.

Germany pleads for EU support to develop new gas fields to boost domestic production per Paris Climate Agreement. MCF Energy plans to drill in Germany and Austria.

Through acquisition, MCF Energy secured 5 licenses for 4 large-scale natural gas projects in Germany and Austria, with over 100 BCF of proven reserves and previously producing wells.

MCF Energy to start drilling gas prospects in Austria this month, then move rig to Germany in March to re-enter formerly producing well, hoping to improve on past results with new technology.

If drilling is successful, MCF Energy's prospects could provide domestic natural gas to help Germany and wider Europe address energy security concerns during crisis.
