Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EVs to Gain Access to Tesla's Charging Network Starting in 2025

Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis will adopt Tesla's NACS EV charging standard starting in late 2024.

This will double the DC fast charging network available to owners by adding access to 12,000+ Tesla Superchargers.

Tesla open-sourced its charging tech in 2022 to accelerate EV adoption. Ford also announced it would use NACS.

Current Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EV owners will be able to buy an adapter to use Superchargers.

Adapters will be sold at dealers starting in 2025. Pricing is not yet announced.
