Instagram and Threads Add Option to Limit Political Content and New Features

Meta has rolled out the option for Instagram and Threads users to limit political content in their feeds. The toggle is on by default but can be disabled.

The setting limits recommendations of political content from accounts you don't already follow. It applies to Explore, Reels, Feed, and Suggested Users.

Threads recently added the ability to show NBA scores within the app. It also previewed fediverse integration for some users.

Users need the latest versions of the Instagram and Threads apps to access the new political content setting.
