Nvidia Reportedly Developing ARM Chips for PCs, Potentially Challenging Intel and Qualcomm

Intel's stock dipped slightly after a report that Nvidia is developing ARM-based CPUs for PCs.

Nvidia has experience with ARM CPUs for datacenter, gaming devices, and PCs. AMD is also rumored to be working on ARM chips for PCs.

The PC market for ARM-based chips has grown, fueled partly by Apple's switch to homemade ARM chips.

Qualcomm has been trying to break into PCs and datacenters with ARM chips but may face new competition from Nvidia and AMD.

Nvidia and AMD's graphics experience could give them an advantage over Qualcomm for Windows on ARM devices.
