Overuse of Name Initials Clutters Communication, Falsely Claims Iconic Status
- The use of 3-letter abbreviations for people's names (like SBF for Sam Bankman-Fried) has become overly common
- Politicians, public figures, and leaders across the world are referred to by their initials (HRC, AOC, AKK, VVP, etc.)
- This habit creates confusion, is often just for convenience, and clutters communication
- Abbreviations wrongly try to claim iconic status on par with the likes of FDR and JFK
- Such exalted initials should be rare and reserved for truly inspirational, world-changing leaders
