YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated 5 new government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, including Vizianagaram, Eluru, Nandyal, Machilipatnam and Rajahmundry.

The new medical colleges aim to improve healthcare access and provide services free of cost.

17 medical colleges to be completed by 2026, increasing seats from 966 to 4,735.
