Super Mario Bros. Wonder Soars to #1 in Japan with Record-Breaking Launch Week Sales

Super Mario Bros. Wonder sold an astonishing 668,634 units in its debut week in Japan, beating Marvel's Spider-Man 2 which came in at #2.

Sonic Superstars for Switch had a more modest launch, selling just 4,128 units in its debut week.

The Switch continues to dominate, with the OLED model selling 51,931 units this week. PlayStation 5 managed 8,164 units.

Detective Pikachu Returns fell from #1 to #8 this week, a noteworthy drop.

Nintendo's Pikmin 4 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continue to have strong sales, coming in at #4 and #5 this week.
