Jeffries Blasts GOP for 'Petty' Office Evictions of Pelosi and Hoyer

Jeffries condemned Republicans' efforts to remove Pelosi and Hoyer from their Capitol offices as "petty, partisan and petulant" in a Washington Post op-ed.

Pelosi was told to vacate her office while in California paying tribute to the late Sen. Feinstein so Rep. McHenry could take over the space.

Hoyer was also removed from his "hideaway office" on Wednesday morning.

Jeffries said House Republicans need to confront extremism in their conference before Democrats will proceed with rules changes.

Jeffries called on Republicans to break with the far-right members of their party and commit to bipartisan governance.
