Judge Recuses Himself From FTC's Antitrust Lawsuit Against Amazon

Judge assigned to FTC's antitrust lawsuit against Amazon recused himself from the case.

Judge John Coughenour was assigned to the case on Tuesday when it was filed.

Coughenour did not give a reason for dropping off the case.

The case has been reassigned to Judge John Chun based on rotation.

Chun was nominated by President Biden last year and previously served on the Washington State Court of Appeals.

The FTC accused Amazon of abusing its power by favoring its own products and punishing merchants with lower prices elsewhere.
