Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire and Rwanda Forecast as Africa's Fastest-Growing Economies in 2023

Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, and Rwanda are forecast as the fastest-growing African economies in 2023 per a new World Bank report.

Strong policies, infrastructure investment, human capital, and diversification have driven growth in these countries.

The report sees Sub-Saharan Africa growth accelerating to 3.7% in 2024 and 4.1% in 2025.

Kenya is forecast for 5% growth in 2023, boosted by agriculture and consumption.

Côte d’Ivoire and Rwanda saw over 5% first quarter growth in 2023, driven by manufacturing and services.
