Keurig Unveils Fully Compostable Coffee Pods and New Brewer for Fall 2024 Launch

Keurig is launching a new line of fully compostable coffee pods called K-Rounds that will be compatible with a new Keurig coffee maker called the Alta
K-Rounds are made of pressed coffee grounds wrapped in a cellulose coating and expected to be certified 100% compostable
K-Rounds will come in different sizes and grinds for brewing espresso, regular coffee, and iced coffee
Consumers will need to purchase the new Alta brewer in order to use the K-Rounds pods
Keurig plans to start beta testing the Alta and K-Rounds this fall, with a potential consumer launch in late 2024
