Lords of the Fallen Remake Won't Use Controversial Anti-Piracy Tech Denuvo

Lords of the Fallen developer Hexworks strongly states the game will not include Denuvo Anti-Tamper tech, unlike many other recent titles.

Lords of the Fallen is a remake of the 2014 soulslike RPG that did use Denuvo, but the new version will not incorporate it.

Hexworks' stance follows some other developers like Tekken 8's Harada, who have also said their games won't use Denuvo despite initial plans.

Many major 2023 releases like Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Dead Space, and Resident Evil 4 are using Denuvo Anti-Tamper.

Hexworks wants to assure players Lords of the Fallen will remain Denuvo-free, though the technology is designed to prevent piracy.
