Lucid Delivers Record EVs in Q1 Despite Production Decline, Aims to Build 9,000 Vehicles in 2024
- Lucid delivered a record 1,967 electric vehicles in Q1 2024, up from 1,734 last quarter
- Production fell to 1,727 EVs in Q1 from 2,391 in Q4 2022
- Price cuts helped boost deliveries after Lucid lowered prices last year and in February
- Lucid plans to build 9,000 EVs in 2024, just above the 8,428 built in 2023
- Saudi Arabia's PIF owns over 60% stake in Lucid and has invested around $5.4 billion since 2018
