First-class stamp prices to rise again this April - stock up now to beat 8% hike, advises Martin Lewis
- First-class stamps currently cost £1.25 but will increase by 8% to £1.35 on April 2nd
- Large first-class stamps will cost 15p more
- Second-class stamps will cost an extra 10p per item, a 13% increase
- Martin Lewis advises people to stock up on stamps now before prices go up
- This is the third first-class stamp price increase in the last year, rising from 95p in March 2021 to £1.25 currently
