Charges Dropped Against Michigan Man Who Agreed to Cooperate in Fake Elector Investigation

Michigan Attorney General dismissed charges against James Renner, one of 16 accused of falsely certifying Trump won state's electoral votes.

Renner agreed to "cooperate fully" with investigation into fake elector scheme to overturn 2020 election.

Renner was charged with 8 felonies including election law forgery and conspiracy to forge election documents.

As part of cooperation deal, Renner will provide info about Dec 2020 meeting where fake certificates were signed.

Michigan was first state to charge individuals involved in fake elector scheme to falsely claim Trump won states Biden won.
