House Speaker Criticizes Democrats Over Response to Anti-Israel Protests

House Speaker Mike Johnson slammed Democrats for not condemning anti-Israel and anti-American protests. He accused them of appeasing the "pro-Hamas wing" of their party.

Johnson highlighted protests in Brooklyn where agitators burned an American flag and said it's "shameful" politicians aren't speaking out.

Anti-Israel protesters shut down traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and on I-880 in Oakland. Similar protests occurred in New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, and Chicago.

Protesters chanted anti-Israel and anti-American slogans. In Chicago, 40 protesters were arrested after blocking access to O'Hare Airport.

Johnson called out Chuck Schumer for not funding Israel and said 166 House Democrats voted against recent legislation to fund Israel.
