O'Hare, Midway Brace for Spring Break Crowds, Projecting 3 Million Travelers

O'Hare and Midway airports expecting nearly 3 million passengers between March 21 and April 1 for spring break, Easter, and Holy Week.

Thursday, March 28th was the busiest travel day so far in that period.

O'Hare projected to have 7% more travelers and Midway 2.4% more compared to last year.

Some travelers trying to beat the rush by traveling overnight, but still encountering crowded shuttles.

Airports advising extra time and will host masses in airport chapels for Easter Sunday travelers.
