Minnesota's Largest Candy store is moving due to upcoming road construction that would have closed off the main entrance
The county offered to trade land less than a mile away to the candy store owners rather than build an expensive new road just for the store
The new location will give the store city utilities like water and sewer, saving $40k a year
The new store will be about twice as big as the current one
The store will operate normally through 2026, move locations over that winter, and have a grand reopening in spring 2027
