Widespread power outages have occurred in the Greater Cincinnati area due to weather-related damages on power lines, with less than 1,000 Duke Energy customers currently affected.

Severe thunderstorms in Kent County and surrounding areas caused power outages for over 195,000 customers, with winds reaching over 60 mph, severe lightning, and quarter-sized hail.

Power outages have been reported in the Houston area due to storms, with most of the outages focused in the city of Houston and hundreds of customers without power in Fort Bend County.

Thousands of people in Omaha were impacted by a power outage on Monday morning, with over 2,300 customers of the Omaha Public Power District affected.
