Moto G Power Review: Decent Budget Phone Undermined by Intrusive Bloatware
-
The Moto G Power feels nice to hold and has a soft-touch back and a headphone jack, but the LCD display and camera are just ok.
-
The biggest downside is the pre-installed bloatware apps like Shopping, Entertainment, and GamesHub that try to get you to download more apps and share data.
-
These apps come from unclear sources, ask for constant access to location, and you can't opt out of installing them.
-
You can uninstall the bloatware, but average users likely won't know how to do that.
-
It's too bad because there is a good budget phone hidden underneath all the pre-installed garbage you didn't ask for.
