The iPhone 15 Pro is a good middle ground with Pro features in a more portable size, minus the periscope camera. It has the new A17 chip.

The iPhone 15 Plus offers a big 6.7" screen like the Pro Max, but without the premium features, for $200 less.

The regular iPhone 15 is the most affordable at $799, with fun new colors. It lacks Pro features but has the A16 chip.

Consider the iPhone 14 or Galaxy S23 Ultra as alternatives with strong value. The iPhone 14 is very capable for less, and the S23 Ultra has an incredible camera.
