New York City Unveils Plan to Evaluate and Implement AI Tools Responsibly

New York City has unveiled a new "Artificial Intelligence Action Plan" to evaluate and responsibly implement AI tools.

The 51-page plan establishes steps the city will take to understand and use AI over the coming years.

It focuses on framework for future AI use, engaging experts and the public.

First step is establishing an "AI Steering Committee" of city stakeholders.

Plan also includes piloting an AI chatbot to help businesses navigate operating in NYC.
