- After nearly 6 weeks of talks, incoming NZ PM Christopher Luxon announces a governing coalition between his National party, ACT, and NZ First
- Deputy PM role will be split between NZ First's Winston Peters (first half of term) and ACT's David Seymour (second half)
- Coalition agreed to narrow the Reserve Bank's mandate to focus just on price stability, not employment
- They will repeal the ban on offshore oil and gas exploration introduced under the previous government
