Cooking gas prices spike over 20% across Nigeria, Lagos and Imo residents hardest hit
- Cooking gas prices increased by 19.75% for 5kg and 28.33% for 12.5kg cylinders from January to February 2024
- Lagos, Imo, and Anambra residents paid the highest prices to refill 5kg cylinders
- Ogun, Delta, and Edo residents paid the highest prices to refill 12.5kg cylinders
- Yobe, Kebbi, and Adamawa residents paid the lowest prices for 5kg refills
- Cooking gas marketers blame terminal operators for causing the high prices
