Cornell Awarded $1.7 Million to Launch AI-Powered Precision Nutrition Program

Cornell received a $1.7 million NIH grant to develop a program combining AI, data science, and nutrition to address health challenges.
The program will train scientists to use AI and machine learning to analyze complex nutrition and health data.
It combines faculty expertise in nutrition, medicine, engineering, computer science, statistics, and mathematics.
The goal is to advance precision nutrition to provide tailored dietary guidance based on individual factors.
It will support 4 PhD students and 1 postdoc per year at Cornell's Center for Precision Nutrition and Health.
