ChatGPT Gains Humanlike Voice and Image Comprehension in Major Update

ChatGPT can now speak aloud and have a back-and-forth conversation with a human voice. Users can ask it to tell stories or settle debates.
The new voice features are similar to Alexa and Siri. An example shows ChatGPT telling a story about a sunflower hedgehog character.
The voice is powered by a new text-to-speech model and professional voice actors. There are 5 different voice options.
Users can now show ChatGPT an image and ask questions about it. For example, asking for meal ideas based on a photo of your fridge contents.
The new features will roll out over the next 2 weeks for paying ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers. The updates come amid a race among tech companies to incorporate more AI.
