NVIDIA Unveils DRIVE Thor Computer with Generative AI for Next-Gen Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA announced adoption of DRIVE Thor computer by BYD, Hyper, XPENG, Plus, Nuro, Waabi, and WeRide for next-gen vehicles including cars, trucks, robotaxis, and delivery vehicles.

DRIVE Thor features new NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and generative AI capabilities. It delivers cockpit functions plus automated and autonomous driving.

DRIVE Thor will power AI and autonomous driving capabilities in future vehicles from major automakers and mobility providers.

Applications span passenger EVs, commercial trucks, robotaxis, autonomous delivery vehicles. Companies are leveraging DRIVE Thor's performance and safety.

Slated for 2023 production vehicles. Has 1,000 teraflops performance to ensure safe and secure autonomous system.
