Nvidia launches NIM platform to simplify AI model deployment
-
Nvidia launched NIM, a new software platform to make deploying AI models into production easier by combining models with optimized engines and packaging them as microservices.
-
NIM aims to create an ecosystem of AI-ready containers using Nvidia hardware and curated microservices for companies wanting to accelerate their AI roadmap.
-
It currently supports models from Nvidia, A121, Adept, Cohere, Getty Images, Shutterstock, Google, Hugging Face, Meta, Microsoft, Mistral AI and Stability AI.
-
NIM will be integrated into Amazon SageMaker, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Microsoft Azure AI.
-
Early adopters include Box, Cloudera, Cohesity, Datastax, Dropbox and NetApp, who can transform their data into generative AI using NIM.
