New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman surrendered and pleaded guilty to falsely pulling a fire alarm in the US Capitol building.

Bowman agreed to pay a $1,000 fine and write an apology letter to the Capitol Police chief.

The charges will be dismissed in 3 months if Bowman complies with the agreement.
