Mystery Oregonian Claims $1.3 Billion Powerball Jackpot From Portland Area Plaid Pantry

The winning $1.3 billion Powerball ticket was sold at a Plaid Pantry store in Northeast Portland, Oregon. The store will receive a $100k bonus.

The winner came forward on Monday but their identity has not yet been revealed publicly. It will be after a vetting process.

The jackpot ended up being $1.326 billion, with a lump sum cash option of $621 million. It's the 4th largest Powerball jackpot ever.

The odds of winning were only 1 in 292.2 million. This jackpot went 41 drawings with no winner, tying a streak set twice before.

Plaid Pantry has 104 stores total in Oregon. One sold a $3.3 million Megabucks jackpot last summer.
