Oura Launches Symptom Radar Lab Feature to Track Health Data with Smart Ring
-
Oura announces new Oura Labs feature called Symptom Radar to let users try experimental features before public release. Comes as Samsung is poised to launch Galaxy Ring smart ring.
-
Symptom Radar tracks changes in body temperature, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability to detect potential health issues.
-
Designed to notify users of biometric changes, not diagnose medical conditions. Should still see doctor if concerned about symptoms.
-
Initially only available on iOS for Gen3 Oura ring members. Android support coming later.
-
Users must opt into Oura Labs, then enable Symptom Radar to try the new experimental feature and provide feedback.
