Starbucks Recalls 440,000 Holiday Mugs Over Burn and Cut Risks from Overheating

Over 440,000 Starbucks holiday mugs recalled due to burn and cut hazards from overheating or breaking
12 incidents reported of mugs overheating or breaking when microwaved or filled with very hot liquid
10 injuries included severe burns, blisters on fingers/hands, and one cut requiring medical attention
Mugs were sold online and in stores at Target, Walmart, and Nexcom from November 2023 through January 2024
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mugs and return them for a full refund
