• Consumer Reports tests find concerning levels of lead, cadmium, and sodium in Lunchables and similar lunch kits • 12 store-bought Lunchables and similar kits were tested • Several kits contained relatively high levels of lead and cadmium, which are hazardous to human health • All but one kit tested positive for phthalates, which have been linked to reproductive issues, diabetes, and certain cancers • Consumer Reports advises against regularly eating these products and says they should not be considered a healthy school lunch
