Pfizer Selling $2.6B Stake in Sensodyne Maker Haleon, Reducing Ownership to 24%
• Pfizer to cut stake in Sensodyne maker Haleon from 32% to 24% in share sale worth $2.58B
• Haleon formed in 2019 by merging GSK and Pfizer’s consumer healthcare units; spun out as separate company in July 2022
• GSK has since reduced its initial 12.9% stake in Haleon down to 4.2%
• Haleon also buying back $315M of its own shares from Pfizer
• Comes as Haleon sees firm demand for its consumer brands like Sensodyne toothpaste and Advil painkillers
