Copper firm apologizes for sponsored party with sushi models

Copper, a cryptocurrency firm led by former UK Chancellor Philip Hammond, sponsored a party where sushi was served off models wearing swimsuits.

Copper has apologized and said the party was not in line with its values. It was an event organized by a third-party planner.

Neither Hammond nor Copper's senior management attended, but some current and former employees reportedly did.

The party has raised fresh questions about a "crypto bro" culture in the industry.
