Google bringing AI-generated wallpapers to Pixel phones

Google letting Pixel 8 users create custom wallpapers with generative AI, debuting the feature at I/O 2023
In Wallpaper & style, new "AI wallpaper" option appears alongside Emoji Workshop, choose theme like Soft focus or Dark theme to get started
Uses text-to-image diffusion models behind the scenes to generate new, original wallpapers based on your prompts
Previous creations appear in "Your AI wallpapers" section, shuffle option available to remix prompts
After Pixel 8, generative AI wallpapers should come to older Google phones, also coming to Chromebook devices
