Sony Reportedly Loses Confidence in Troubled KOTOR Remake, But Developer Saber Still Committed to Finishing Project

Sony has lost confidence in the KOTOR remake and wants "nothing to do with it anymore," according to industry insider Jeff Grubb.

However, developer Saber Interactive remains "determined" to finish the project, despite Sony's reluctance.

Saber CEO Matthew Karch says the game is "alive and well," trying to assure fans.

The game was originally announced as a PlayStation exclusive back in 2021, but has had a troubled development ever since.

Grubb believes the game will never actually be released, though Saber and Karch insist it's still in development.
