Pokémon GO Halloween Event Returns with Timed Research, New Shinies, Giovanni Battle

There are two Halloween-themed timed research quests - Halloween Timed Research and Spiritomb Limited Research. Complete them before Oct 31st 8pm to get all rewards.

Event spawns Ghost-type Pokémon more frequently, with bonuses like extra Candy. Shiny Phantump is released in Part 1, shiny Zorua in Part 2.

Special research to battle Giovanni and catch Shadow Regigigas during Team Go Rocket Takeover in Part 2.

Costumed Pikachu and Gengar are available wild spawns in Part 2. Raid bosses change between parts.

Event divided into Part 1 (Oct 19th - 26th) and Part 2 (Oct 26th 10am - Oct 31st 8pm). Features like Lavender Town music return.
