Rep. Greene Targeted by Another Swatting Attack on Christmas Day
-
Authorities are investigating a Christmas Day swatting call made to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's home in Georgia. This is at least the 8th swatting incident at her home.
-
The caller claimed he had shot his girlfriend at Greene's address and threatened to kill himself. Police were turned around before arriving once informed nothing was actually happening there.
-
Swatting is a harmful prank call made to authorities to lure a large police response to a location under false pretenses.
-
Rep. Brandon Williams also experienced a swatting incident at his New York home on the same day.
-
Greene has faced criticism from both sides of the aisle, including recently being removed from the House Freedom Caucus for criticizing members and backing GOP leadership.
