Polygon Forms 13-Member Protocol Council for Decentralized Governance

Polygon proposed a Protocol Council for decentralized governance and named 13 inaugural members.

The council will be responsible for timelock-limited changes to Polygon system contracts on Ethereum.

Members are from Coinbase, Ethereum Foundation, Sommelier Finance, Polygon Labs, etc.

Changes require execution through a Gnosis Safe contract.

Part of Polygon's 2.0 roadmap to further decentralize governance.
