Sony Increases PS5 Digital Edition Price by $50 in USA, Now $449.99

Sony has increased the price of the PS5 Digital Edition by $50 in the USA. The new MSRP is $449.99.

The price increase comes as Sony launches a slimmer, smaller relaunch of the PS5.

The price of the PS5 with Blu-ray drive remains unchanged at $499.99.

Buying the Blu-ray drive bundle will now save $20 compared to buying the Digital Edition + drive separately.

The price increase for the Digital Edition starts in November in the USA. Other currencies are affected differently.
