• The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence Index rose to 110.7 in December from 101 in November
• Consumers had more positive views on current business conditions, job availability, and income prospects for the next 6 months
• Over half of respondents said they plan to go on vacation in the next 6 months, the highest share since late 2019
