Fico Returns as Slovak PM for 4th Term, Governs with Right-Wing Coalition

Robert Fico will become Slovakia's prime minister again on Wednesday for his 4th term.
This follows Fico's resignation in 2018 after protests over the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak.
Fico will govern with a coalition including the rightist SNS party, prompting his party's suspension from European socialists.
President Čaputová rejected the SNS's initial environment minister nominee but approved a replacement.
Fico is expected to attend this week's EU summit in Brussels to represent Slovakia, having campaigned on anti-Ukraine and anti-migration policies.
