Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wows with Classic 2D Magic and New Surprises

Overall impressions are very positive - the game brings back the magic of classic 2D Mario with great animations, music, surprises, and creativity.

The badge system provides fun ways to tweak Mario's moves and abilities without overly complicating things. Boost badges are a nice help while still keeping the core gameplay.

Compared to New Super Mario Bros., this feels like a true evolution of 2D Mario not seen since the NES/SNES era.

The difficulty seems fair so far, with some tougher platforming challenges here and there. Getting 100% completion will be the real test.

The story and new characters like Prince Florian add some charm without getting in the way of the gameplay. The Poplins are a bit intrusive though.
