Bankman-Fried Cancels Last-Minute on Davos Panel, Biographer Says He Often Flaked When His Calculations Deemed Things Not Worth His Time

Sam Bankman-Fried was scheduled to speak at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

He decided to pull out of the event at the last minute, according to Michael Lewis' new biography.

The World Economic Forum had to quickly find someone else for the panel after Bankman-Fried canceled.

Lewis wrote that Bankman-Fried would frequently cancel on people because his calculations showed they weren't worth his time.

Bankman-Fried also previously failed to show up for a Time magazine event in Dubai after being named one of their 100 Most Influential People.
