Samsung Teases Faster Exynos 2400 Chip for Future Phones, Aims to Improve on Exynos Reputation

Samsung teased the Exynos 2400 chip at its Developer Conference, offering 1.7x faster CPU and 14.7x faster AI versus the Exynos 2200.

The Exynos 2400 will likely be used in some variants of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series phones.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 may also be produced by Samsung's foundry, as TSMC's 3nm capacity is constrained.

Using Exynos chips has hurt Samsung's reputation, so even the S23 series uses Snapdragon globally.

Details are still light on the Exynos 2400, but it brings an updated Xclipse 940 GPU with AMD and big AI improvements.
